YOU CAME AND CHANGE MY LIFE
WHICH YOU THOUGHT WAS COOL
TURNED IT UPSIDE DOWN
YOU THOUGHT MEN SHOULD RULE
YOU SAY THAT I'M BENEATH YOU
NO GOOD AT ALL
YOU SHOVED, PUSHED , HIT ME
A ***** IS WHAT I WAS CALLED
YOU SAID THAT YOU LOVE ME
THEN I'LL TAKE YOU BACK
YOU BLACK MY EYE
AT THE DROP OF A HAT
YOU TOOK ME FOR GRANTED, YOU MADE ME CRY
YOU SAID IT'LL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN
WHICH WAS A LIE
I NEEDED TO GET AWAY, FAST AND IN A HURRY
YOU CAUGHT WIND, AND YOU DISCOVER
THAT I WAS PALNNING TO LEAVE, GET OUT, GET AWAY
YOU CLOSE THE DOOR AND MADE ME STAY
IF YOU COULDN'T HAVE ME THAN NO ONE WILL
BEAT ME SO BAD, LOOKED LIKE EMMITT TILL
THE PAIN INSIDE WILL NEVER HEAL
PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME
DON'T LOOK THE OTHER WAY
DYING IS NOT WHAT I WANT TO DO TODAY....

interesting use of history in there with emmitt till...he may be able to hurt you physically, but don't let him defeat you psychologically...there is where the battle is won.
