My Brother Ran Away

My brother packed to leave
His holey socks,
My pet peave
I stayed next to him and begged him to stay
on the floor, there i lay
Then he said "I have to go,
You know".
So i begged him to take me
But then he said no again, that he had to flee
I watched him walk out and then i screamed and cried
I wish i had died
Pounding my fists on the floor
Just praying for him to come back, more and more
Tears streaming down my face
I was breathing at a fast pace
My brother never to come back
On that night he'd packed
To go and never return
