White Dove

Once had the beauty Of an innocent white dove Only not knowing What it was to be loved
Always holding her head down low Thinking she has to hide Never having the courage to grow Or spread her wings open wide
Feeling worthless And full of despair Deserving nothing Not even ones care
Spinning and swirling Down to the world of saddness Twisting and turning Into the dark side of maddness
Now beauty and innocence have faded She is unable to open her eyes But now it's to late for the jaded Pale white dove can no longer fly
