Free Expression

Contributed by RhythmBndt on Thursday, 4th November 2004 @ 06:42:22 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

YPDC is communist
Ever heard of free expression
What's the point of deleting poems?
Some of us aren't sorry if we offend

I know I'm not
Screw this site
You really suck
Screw your site rules

No one really gives a damn
I don't know & neither do a few other people
Screw all of you, I'm gone

I respect your opinion in all things as u r intitled to it.
I'm sure your'e not interested in my opinion but it's free.
I've been here for round six years and have never had a bad experience on this site except when angry people crash the site cause things don't suit them or jus pure evil, who knows, who cares?
Don't know what your ***** is but we do have rules here and that's a good thang 'cause one thing sure there's many angry, tormented souls out there that need someone that has no one but this site to keep them going.
Being a vetern here on this site, I'm sure that not many folks out there put in as much hours as I do right here doing what I do now.
If u don't like getting sensered pay the price of preminum membver ship 'cause we got a place over there where u can write any kind of ****** **** u want.
luv, huggs, smiles,
emy

I can respect opinions of others and be open to listen. I do not know what prompted you to write in this matter, so all I can do is hope that you might explain in a more rational way, and then we can listen thru your no so angry words, and hear what you are saying, instead of just letting it out in one angry burst.
I don't get online this site as often, but when I do, the talent of writers, all kinds even thru bad words, can shine thru. But I haven't seen much of anything be out of control against any one member or our moderator. WE might listen if you explained why your poem was deleted, if this was the case, and what the cause, and perhaps we can understand what you are going thru. YOu want to express yourself, but there are rules what you have to do, and there are certain sites for the really crude and sexuall wording, still require some decorum. Im sorry to see you are so upset, Perhaps you are hurt, your words couldn't come thru in the poem(s) that were deleted...but until you calm down enough to be more rational, other members might try and understand what you are trying to say, without bashing the site or anyone else. Freedom of expression comes in many forms, but there is a form of decorum, decency and courtsey that go with anything you do on any website, and YPDC is no exception. I believe its a wonderful, learning site, so much talent, so much of our young and older people expressing thier feelings, coming from all around this world. I hope whatever it is that is bothering you, please calm down enough to let us listen to your words and we might understand your point of view.

I censor my poems
with: (censored)
myself.

I wish I knew what they deleted from you,
but PM me... I created a site for
UNCENSORED poetry from YPDC poets!

Keep posting here and help us
build the content of that site.

Well, if you can't follow the site rules and don't want to fork out the $30 to become a premium member where you can post anything you want then I say it is probably best that you do leave the site. We have some very young people who read poetry here and post and I for one and grateful they are not subjected to the harsher more pornographic and plain rude and crude BS that some people do try to post in the general area. There is an area for that and that is where it should be posted. I am sorry you are leaving but I wish you the best.

Don't know what prompted your response but I
have found this site to be one of the best and if the rules upset you and you are not adult enough to understand the reasons why there are rules and regulations then it is your right to GO AWAY.

LONG LIVE YPDC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please don't say, "no one" because then you are including me in your comment. I do care. If you know the rules, and can't write poetry without breaking them then there are other places that are happy to have you.

There is also the special section where you can post. Mick has children and is concerned about other children as well. Personally, I think the dark, violent stuff is worse then sex and fowl language..but I lost my battle a year ago.. what's wrong with communism anyway? In theory it works better than the electoral college..ROTFLMAO.. ta ta

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©

Opinions expressed in the poetry, comments, forums etc. on this site are not necessarily those of this site, its owners and/or operators; but of the individuals who post items to this site.
