Everything Will Be Ok
As I talk to friends throughout the day I learn of needs by the things they say The same holds true, I steadily find With children and whats on their minds
Explaining life and the journey we make, And sharing our pain should not be a mistake Learning to trust is hard to do, But worth the risk, with a chosen few.
To share a smile, a tear, or regret, To open your heart, Id be willing to bet There'd be much less pain, suffering and strife, If only we cared about others in life.
God has provided a tool called love, And from the heart and through him above, We can provide comfort if only to hear The suffering of others, by lending an ear.
We think nothing of sharing laughter it seems But, what of the pain in the eye without gleam. Or the sadness contained in an old mans voice, To ignore him it seems has become our choice.
God has provided all these things, Use these tools for the joy they bring. For through these tools you'll find brighter days And a promise that everything will be ok.
