Knowing more than one should
is taken in doses and
sometimes not understood
sometimes not responded to
sometimes not cared to
imagine where came from
and little pieces of letters are
truth
and imagine what else lies inside
there with you
Taking a chance was a risk
understated
it's taken in moments and
sometimes not related at all
sometimes not allowed
sometimes not what you saw
was always there to imagine
and little pieces of letters are
real
and imagine what else is there
left to feel
Walking the journey with hands
not always close weaved
is taken with secrets and
sometimes not able to breathe
sometimes not wanted to move
sometimes not careful to leave
much to imagine
and little pieces of letters are
love
and imagine what else is
compared to what was
Past and present spoken
but quietly it's taken in doses while
sometimes not understood
sometimes not knowing all that one should
sometimes not able to breathe
as I imagine the words
in little pieces of letters are
you
and imagine what else is
left of the truth
