I am lonely without you by my side
Because whenever I am near you
I'm filled with happiness and pride
You are my shining star
Guiding me through the darkness of night
You are the strength within me
Filling me with delight
The days drag on forever
When you're not here with me
I struggle through the daylight hours
Sometimes finding it hard to breath
Then I drift into peaceful slumber
And I see you standing tall
This is the best part of my day
Because I realise I'm not lonely at all
