I wish for one day you could
Stumble blindly through my life
The days all blend in a haze
I wish for one day you could feel the pain
The way it burns me everyday
I want you to know
That no matter how hard you try
And how much you think you know
You don't truly know me
I wish for one day you could feel my failure, feel it when they scream
And the hatered it causes that I keep bottled up inside of me
I wish you could taste my tears, count them as they fall
Learn what it feels like to be a "misguided youth"
And have no place to run to at all
I wish for one day you could feel so scared, lost, and alone
I wish for one day you knew my past
And knew my darkest days
I wish for one day you had to ask yourself,
"Where do I belong?"
I wish that you could count my failures,
I hope my life takes you over
What would you feel like if your dreams shattered constantly,
If your failure screamed at you,
If your pain burned the inside of you,
And you couldn't help but hate yourself and stumble blindly through the days?
I wish for one day you could...
