Statistic...

Contributed by Roshie on Wednesday, 20th November 2002 @ 06:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

A home destroyed, a cut so deep,
A heart so broken, many tears they weep.
Love is forgotten, so lost and alone,
The girl walks quietly, her name unknown.
Her family ruind, her heart now broken,
Her mind in pain, no words are spoken.
With innocence lost, scars are unseen,
There is no love, or so it seemed.
Mother never loved her, Father never there,
Hatred forming in her, nobody cares.
One hit, no more pain, two no more mind,
Three world is spinning, money she must find.
Body being sold, none can stop her now,
If only someone would help, if only she knew how.
One more hit, and now her life will fade,
This isn't suicide, there is no blade.
Someone finds her, alone and lifeless,
Her body destroyed, life is priceless.
No one to tell her, she will be missed,
Just another statistic to be dismissed.

Oh Roshie'

What a beautiful but frightening write, this is happening to too many of our young ones and it has to stop.
I hear you and I feel your pain.
So sad that one so young as you has to write of such tragedy.
But thanks, as I say, I hear you and your words are so true
Hugz,
Fwog
