Lost in a Well

In this empty well
A boy waits for rescue
But nobody knows his name
Or that he is even down there
His legs have broken
From falling to the ground
He can see the sun above
But cannot climb to feel its warmth
Overly shaded
It is like he is blind
All he can see are his thoughts
That suffocate his memories
Ice coats his small lungs
From the cold underground
With lungs like these he can scream
But they will be to weak to hear
Feeling the hunger
He senses starvation
So he dreams with eyes open
Denying that he is dying
The mistake he made
To play near that dark well
Will haunt his soul forever
As he burns from flames of regret

wow. i think that is rly kewl. i can actualy picture a boy stuck in a well. it reminds me of "the ring" lol. i wrote a poem abt my evil english teacher it went " i think we should make her watch the ring and then shove her in the well. then shell come back to haunt us. 7 days shell say and when we finnaly kick her a** F*** u well all say. " it was great
i rly liked ur poem keep up the good work!
