one day when i can understand
truths you gave me, lies never intended to decieve
one day i cannot imagine
when i wake up and you're not there, i can manage just being, somehow.
i'll get over you
tomorrow when i can accept
my heart bleeds for you but your place here is blurring
tomorrow when i realise
i need you, but we need to live for ourselves aswell as us.
i'll get over you
today when i can remember, happily
tickling each other until cups of tea are on the carpet and its hurts to laugh
today when i can smile
because honestly, your face didn't cry me to sleep.
i'll get over you
someday when i can look
and i won't be searching every face for you
someday when i can write
and the thought of you brings no inspiration
someday when i can write
and i won't think of you at all.
