Typical Me, Typical Day

Contributed by Delusions_of_Grandeur on Friday, 19th July 2002 @ 06:00:23 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Looks of concern follow me each day
just because my act isn't on
doesn't mean there is something wrong
but if there was could you really tell?

More often then not though, there IS something,
but no one ever notices when the feeling is true,
just trivial matters, I can deal right?
Wrong
no one is that strong, let alone me.

Teenage trials,
typical, no?
the troubled youth on the rampage again,
but it's just not the same.

In moments of silence I slip into shadow,
a creeping darkness spreading within,
and then you look over,
I put on a grin
and everything's fine,
or is it?

Hi D_of_G,

Another good title, another good poem.
I hope whoever you have in your life notices kido. Sometimes life gets in the way and they just can`t see. Don`t be afraid to talk to them first.
Take care. Thumb

Hey, this is a really, really good poem...

I know exactly how this goes.

You should read some of mine...

*sorry for the blatant self-promotion*

But this still is an awesome poem.
