Isnt it wonderful how they can mold
Mold them selves into your mirror image
Just to manipulate your mind
Make you believe in them
Isnt it wonderful how they always say the right things
And seem to understand you
Their interests resemble yours
Isnt it wonderful how you seem to connect so easily
Open up so bravely to them
And feel as if theyre trustworthy
Isnt it wonderful when the end comes
When all is set free
The truth comes out before your eyes
Yet they still try to be your mirror image
Isnt it wonderful how they try so hard to continue to make you believe
How they speak so slyly
Choosing their words so wisely
Isnt is all so wonderful?

Oh, I know more than my share of these. I am such a sucker for their lies. You describe this very, very well. Bravo!
An excellent and chill-inspiring write.
You might put this under "dark" poetry as well.
