You stare at me with familiar eyes
And from my face you dry the tear that cries
When I need a laugh youre there
And from my life you wipe away every care
But you dont know who I am
We can sit and talk for hours about silly stuff
About our life, relationships and things that are rough
And from all the hours you never hear how I feel
But you talk like we are close and still
You dont know who I am
Tell me whats my darkest secret?
Whats my most embarrassing moment?
Whats my greatest fear?
Do you even remember my face?
Or has that from your mind been erased
Because you dont even care who I am
I dont want you to know who I am
I am the girl who is lovesick for you
I am the one you put off after months of love
I am the girl you called sweet names
I was the one you loved and said was different from the rest
But you dont even know who I am?
