Repeated Destruction

Contributed by ZiltzWiltz on Wednesday, 10th November 2004 @ 06:49:09 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

It hurt so bad when she rejected me, so bad that I wanted to cry.
So many feelings rushed through my soul, so many I thought I would die.
All I needed was someone to talk to; someone to tell me it was all right.
So you came to sit beside me, to give me someone to talk to when its lonely at night.

You gave me a shoulder to cry on, and a person to count on too.
Whenever I was sad, Id just talk to you instead of feeling cold and blue.
And then we were closer than ever, and we looked out for each other was well.
Whenever one of us was sad, the other was there to break the spell.

And so I trusted you more than anyone, cause I knew that you would never do that to me.
And you said youd love me forever; that was something you could guarantee.
So things were accelerating wonderfully, no one could keep us apart.
And I realized I loved you more than before, and you were the only one in my heart.

And the one who hurt me before, wasnt anything like you.
You were so loving and wonderful, comforting and true.
And on that one cold day our love faltered, your guiding hand disappeared and I fell.
And then I dropped to where I was before, and you had hurt me as well.

sorry you had to go through that .. i understand the feeling of hurt .. i think everyone goes through bad times.. but you learn from them.. remember there is always hope and that person probably wasn't right for you either.. soemtimes things just aren't meant and its no ones fault.. this is well expressed though and a great write.. but remember you will find love there is hope for you

peace and hope
