Late at night, staring out the window.
The night falls in and it starts to rain.
Time to go and walk the city.
So no one can see your pain.
Time can be a cruel enemy.
Life has changed over the years.
Escape is no longer possible.
Let the rain swallow your tears.
No longer hold your pain.
Ive made that mistake too.
Let the rain swallow your tears,
before is swallows you.
The hurting has not yet ended.
And youve got a long way to go.
I know its hard
to let your feelings show.
But just try to make a change
And dont be a macho guy.
I guarantee youll feel better
And its not a shame to cry.
No longer hold your pain.
Ive made that mistake too.

before is swallows you.
