On The Verge

Contributed by frozensuicide on Thursday, 21st November 2002 @ 12:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I'm on the verge,
of soaking in my blood.
the cold temptation of suicide,
the blade and my wrist shall perge.

I have no idea whats happening to me.
the subtle exsistance of life no longer amuses me.
i cant figure why my desire to die is strong,
but inside and out its killing me.

I'm on the verge of death at my wings.
the sweet sensation of the burning in my arms.
a blade pressed against my flesh i gasp.
as the burning of passes embarks my body and sings.

Tears burn my eyes as i know whats happening.
my friends, i worry, what they truly think of me.
im more afraid of whats happening to me,
than they are realizing...

i cant stop myself from cutting.
im on the verge of suicide.
i cant stop my self from cutting,
i love the pain it brings like you just died.

im on the verge of suicide.
on the verge to leave.
on the verge of this not happening,
hoping i wont decieve.

I know exactly how you feel....I've struggled with suicide all my life....

It's a hidden disease...sometimes it's so easy
just to give in

but if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for what it's worth as some one who knows.

Don't be afraid to share...

Blue

Cutting gives you a release, but the price outweighs the satisfaction....may God give you the strength to overcome

Its scarry how truthful that is, I sadly to say know it from some experince. I to miss the feeling of the cutting. But believe me, it is possible to control it or even maybe stop.

good poem, sad story. seems like you've spoken the words that many can relate to. sadly, i can too. Cutting can give you a high, seeing the blood run down is like letting all that negativity flow out as well. You kill yourself for just awhile, but soon you come back. Although i can't stop, please find it within yourself to do so. Life is precious, life is all we have. Nothing said or done upon you should make you feel as if you have nothing else to live for. Peace out
