give me something to cry on

Contributed by biggnigg on Thursday, 21st November 2002 @ 02:40:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

when was the las time you actually tried to comprehend life
try to understand reality and evaluate life in tha form of creativity
been a long time since i tried to collect my thoughts
into collective organized boxes and clean up my life wit spirtual mops
i fought for love once until if fought back and won
i lost my mind several times till i placed it aside and said im done
how come every time you try you lose but when you dont you win
is it bad to not fight back cause you don know when to defend
i use to try and comprehend this as the words fall like avalanches from my mind to my heart
it gets confusing to try to win a race when you dont know where to start
i dont know where to begin where to send my heart so my mind can mend
if i asked for your heart would it be your heart that you lend
if i asked for you hand to hold me would your hand be what you extend
cause we tend to give what is not wanted nor what is needed to go on
would you know what to say if i told you something was wrong
would you stay quiet wit fear afraid to share a tear
as my teddy bears are decomposing and i have nothing to lie on
would you extend your shoulder and give me something to cry on
