When will he see me
For who I truly am?
I am slowly drowning
And he doesn't give a damn
Why can't he see me struggling
In a pool of my own tears?
When will he rescue me?
And take away all my fears
When he looks into my big black eyes
Can't he clearly see?
That I don't want anything from him
But a life of exctasy
I would of thought by now
He could see the pain from within my eyes
Why can't he just tell the truth
Instead of hiding behind hurtful lies?
When will my pain and suffering
Come to a heartbreaking end?
Why won't he just come out and say
We can only ever be friends
