Why do i always wish
for whats outside my reach
why do i learn
what i can teach
sometimes i dont see
any point to my existance
but im pushed on
by alarming persistance
why should i try
when ill only die
why should i cry
when its all a lie
...But when it gets dark
you give me light
when the ground gets too rough
you give me flight
without those like you
id be dead by now
id be lost to the world
with nothing more than a wow
sometimes i worry
when the path seems thin and frail
but its friends like you
that blaze my trail
