He strokes the borders of imagination
Rectifying tender moments long since past
I taste divinity at last
As he dances with the shadows of my past --
Mocking a lifetime of sorrow and pain
I see within him purity, blinding white chastity
Sanctity reigns in his every gesture, every glance
The silhouette within his eyes, the shadows dance
Enchantment's only manifestation
Heaven's most-high incarnation
A most high miracle!
As I laugh at days gone by
My cheeks flushed with embarressment
Of what I thought was life
And music. . .
His voice subdues all else around me
As it resonates within me, I crumble
Yes, the music of the spheres at his command!
The grace of heaven lies within his voice
A love letter from God on High
Though the songs that I have sung with him have ceased. . .
A new song has begun
His everlasting melody
Rings within my heart forevermore. . .
