i'm sorry for what i have done
for the mistakes that i've made
and for the games that i've played
i never meant to hurt you
i never meant to desert you
i didn't mean to take off and leave
but what you said i just could not believe
i thought i needed you
but it was you that needed me
i know you're very upset
i just hope you don't regret we ever met
but i couldn't sit there and watch you lie
it just made me want to curl up and cry
i wish i could forget all the trouble we had
i wish i could forget all the bad times and sad
