Close you eyes and think good things,
Tall masted ships and golden rings,
Of white breaking surf upon the sand,
With the one you love, hand in hand.
Just relax.
Remember all the good times not bad,
Things that made you laugh not sad,
People you knew along the way,
Some are your best friends still today.
Just relax.
Green fields, blue skies, the sound of birds,
A loving look, a sweet perfume, perfect words,
Growing up innocent, no sign of hate or war,
Kissing for the first time outside front door.
Just relax.
Being alone, even amongst a crowd,
Switching off when others get too loud,
Smiling to yourself with secrets inside,
A beating heart. a love you have to hide.
Just relax.
Fluffy clouds dancing by, a kissing breeze,
First sign of summer when you sneeze,
A shopping trip, retail therapy,
No cares at all as far as you can see.
Just relax.
Some days are grey, some turn to black,
And tears win and knock you off track,
In your torment crying is no sin,
So long as you fight back hard and win.
For now, just relax.
