Under a face that sees no pain
Only seeking grace
Underneath this masquerade
Are shadows lurking
Deep within
Her bloody dress
A cold reminder

Like a mask of shame
Alone at night she cries
As the nightingale sings its woeful tune
Silent about her ways
She knows not the light of day

Disguising all

They seem to think they know her well
But all they see is a fake faade
Incapable of being free

Will hold her back
Her dirty little secret
