My dear friend ROBERT.
Your one of the first.
Still living with AIDS.
Taking life one day at a time.
Your one of a kind.
Still alive after all these years.
Don't give up the battle now
in tears.
You've had HIV since 85
AIDS since 90.
You've proven them wrong
you can survive,
AIDS.
Your a great man with lot's to
teach.
To young people such as me.
Who live with AIDS.
Your a testament to the
strength of human will.
Against this curse of man's
creation.
What is your secret my friend
to life
How have you made it so far
where other's have not?
You are one of the strongest
people I know.
Don't let other's bring you down.
Don't let them take your sprit
away.
You can teach so many your secrets
to life.
It's not just the med.'s that keep
you alive.
I believe there something special
within you.
Some special force I believe.
The hand of GOD is upon you
in some way.
Your life is a symbol to me and
others.
A dream I'm striving for just to
live as long as you.
You can't let them bring you down.
Everyone is tested in life some
more than others.
But you my friend I respect.
Please don't end it.
Grow from it.
Let it make you stronger.
Take what has happen and shove
it in their face.
Like you did to society with AIDS.
You've proven it can done,
You've proven it to me.
There's nothing the human will
cannot defeat.
There's nothing you cannot defeat.
I'm just a friend.
Just someone with AIDS
like you.
I just care ROBERT.
I care for you.
Peace my friend.
Just always know I'm here
to listen.
You'll always have a
friend named DENNIS.

awwww...
I really liked this poem, it goes to show that just because you have an STD doesn't mean that you should give up hope, there's always going to be somebody feeling the same way, and there will always be somebody there for you.
Well I absolutely loved this poem Dennis, and I hope that you don't give up. You have showed me things throughout your writings, and I thank you for having the courage to speak up.

you sound like a really caring per son i bet it is really nice for robert to have a such a good friend like you i cant bare to think how hard it is living like that it makes you grateful for what you have got and it made stop and think how lucky i am good write dennis keep up the good work and dont stop fighting

This poem showed great caring and respect. I hope that your friend relizes that he is very special and I am glad that he is still going strong. I really liked this write becuz you shown robert that you really truley care about him and that you showed him that he should never give up. I hope he doesn't and that he fights with all his strength.
