I miss you and it hasn't been long
My head fills with worries and everything wrong
I think I want to hear your voice
Without abandon, like I still have a choice
I think I want to scream your name,
and scare the fears from whence they came
You were my strength (if you didn't know it)
Now that you're farther, I can't even show it
Reach me and affirm your strength
Break the silence held at length
On your end, it's all yours to hold
But I want to share the burden so it's not so cold
I love you, I always will
Whether in a valley or on a hill
Please don't make me wait too long
Settle in, and then give me a call
I'll be here waiting, as I always do
Just remember, I'm here for you
