Waiting For The Day

I lie there lifeless
waiting for the day to be
i am alone
but not for long
meet me by the gates
with the hands of christ
upon your shoulders, waiting for me

Tonight I'll pray
for my sins to wash away
please god take me in
open your arms
and make me fell at home

My love, you await
wait for me to walk the tunnel
i will follow the light
i will follow my heart
with a love so strong
i shouldnt get lost

Please remember me
Please remember the love so true
Please remember the sunny days
with the skys so blue
Please avoid the storms
that are along the way
and the bumpy roads
Please never stray...

I wont make u wait
it will be soon to come
we will be together
once again
I wont let u down .........
