You disappeared,
And stole my heart
You never said good-bye
And that really hurt
I sat around
And allowed you
To eat at me
Until I had no more
Need for the air that I breathed
It wasnt that I couldnt
Let go,
It was because
I didnt want to
You shined over my body, and made my smile worth more than just teeth and the evilness that it sometimes beholds
You knew what you meant to me, yet you disappearedand left me be
When the tears stop and
The love burns a little cooler
Thats when my hurt will fade awayand our days will no longer be gray
But youll let it staythat I am the one that hurts
How very, very selfish of you!
