TWINS IN HEAVEN***

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Thursday, 21st November 2002 @ 06:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

The babies crying from inside of you,
Knowing what your about to do,
Fighting to live but they are to weak,
Love from their mother is what they seek,
twin boys, born but now left to die,
placed in a sack, starting to cry,
Can't anyone here our cries,
we can't see with our little eyes,
Were screaming," please let us out of this sack",
Don't do this mommy, we need you back,
but the mommy walks away from those cries,
just telling everyone stupid lies,
They were placed in a garbage can,
Taken there by their mothers hand,
twin boys now in heaven looking down,
No funeral or bodies in the ground,
Just tossed like trash, with no care,
She heard their cries but left them there,
Now in heaven, where no one can harm,
Safe from their mother,in Gods arm,
Twin angels who will never see light,
because their mother took away their right!

This is so sad and i Can imagine
a mother doing this because it happens
almost all the time in big cities. It all goes
back to lack of communication on the
girls part whether it be in the home with
the parents or with the boyfriend, Lack
of communication can destroy so many
things, if you don't know how someone
else is feeling and you shut yourself up
then how will you know??? Assume ???
Thanks for sharing this one Christina

so sad... if on;ly they had the chance to be with a real mother that would have loved them and wanted them but as you say they are now in gods care safe from the harm of their mother

This poem brought a tear to my eye as I recalled stories over the past few years about mothers abandoning their newborns. I never understood, and probably never will, how a mother could just abandon such a helpless, innocent life...

I believe you did a wonderful job in trying to give voice to those who will never have the chance to do so for themselves...

This poem is so sad. It made me cry. I hear about this kind of thing all the time. And I still can't believe how a mother could do something like that to her child. It breaks my heart everytime I hear about things like this.

Awwwww.. I don't know if this was a true thing or not; but it tore me up as I have lost twins myself; but not like this I miscarried them.. sniff sniff.. would do anything to have my babies back and this mother in your poem surely will have to face that awful unforgivable thing she did.. I guess thats all I can say, am unable to see the beauty/ too sad..
always Nessa
