Blackened Tears

Contributed by CrimsonTears on Tuesday, 16th November 2004 @ 10:31:18 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

My blackened tears stain my face
Theyre falling at a constant pace
Ive held them in for way to long
Im just so tired of being strong

Its time you saw the pain inside
So I no longer have to hide
Sympathy is not what Im looking for
I just dont want to hold it in anymore

But this is only in a dream
As my tears begin stream
No ones here to see them fall
No one hears my silent call

Youll never see the pain I feel
Ive locked it inside with a seal
I will not give you that satisfaction
To see the pain you cause in action

Only alone will I cry
Anywhere else I think Id die
I wish I could make you feel my pain
And yet towards you I feel no disdain

Beautifully heart-wrenching. I think this is brilliant, captivating and inspirational from the first word to the last.
