Keep the pain you feel inside,
Lock it away dont let it out,
Thats what secrecy is all about.
What you feel aint so bad,
Theres no shame in being sad,
Hide away in shadows of everything,
Lock yourself inside a cage,
Hide away and dont be brave.
But theres no shame,
Theres no shame in being sad.
Walk down the path you know,
Feel the blade of the knife,
Just cut away dont think twice.
Make it alright,
But theres no shame in being sad.
Push me away dont let me close,
You can cut and you can tear,
But dont forget that I care.
Theres nothing wrong,
Theres no shame in being sad.
Walk through the darkness out of sight,
Do it again and dont think twice,
But never make that final slice.
Soon youll be fine,
But theres no shame in being sad.
