So Satan is among us
In this worldly realm
He thinks he's got us
By the throat with the
Consequence of sin
How could Satan have known
That all of his plans would be overthrown
By the Power of the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is within us
It resides within our spirit and
How awesome is its
Power
And we can spell it out:
P is for Perfect Son
O is for overjoyed
W is for wisdom
E is for error of our ways and everyone has the Holy Spirit who believes in Him
R is for Redemption through His Sacrifice
So we can tell the devil that he has no place
In our souls, hearts, and minds
The kingdom he promises is nothing more than
Than a fleshly slave pit of which a worthy Way is hard to find
Lord Jesus has much Knowledge to entrust to us
If only we will entrust with Him our spirits
