I stand by the shore staring out at the ocean
the waves wash upon the beach a lonely sound
the sand piper scurry to and fro for evening meal
and i just stand here feeling my lonliness again
how can there be such happiness when i die inside
the hustle and bustle of christmas shopping at the mall
the children laughing in glee to sit on santas knee
people scamper from store to store checking thier list
i gaze around at all this happiness and wonder why am i sad
how can there be such happiness when i die inside
there was a time when i shared their glee at life
when holidays filled me with such joy but now
the emptiness i feel the betrayal i felt for what
why is my life torn apart shredded spread all over
how can there be such happiness when i die inside
why did one man hold that much power over me
how could i have fallen so deep in the trap
why was my love played with abused like that
whenever i think of him tears well up in my eyes
how can there be such happiness when i die inside

Hrmm....dunno what to say. Never was good at the comment thing....
I like it....it reminds me of an old proverb...by some chinese guy.....
In a lifetime we die a thousand deaths ^_^
