.... a jilted lover she may be
the gilded lily she is not
casted pearl came to agree
that siren is righteously hot

.... now little girl is hiding fast
her refuge amongst the limbs
moving just beyond her past
while her light is growing dim

.... bound in ways no one can see
nor tied in ways they can
no one wants to truly believe
they could hold it all in their hand

.... so she settles all for silly fools
when searching for a sir
none have all the needed tools
to reach the core in her

.... she calmly lays her body down
upon the altar of mystique
she'll gladly where the heady crown
to writhe in the oblique

.... the lighted faerie begins her dance
amid the fireflies
which one will she give the chance
as she listens to their cries

.... so off she goes to laugh it off
a little more jaded day by day
no more she hopes high or aloft
it's their turn to be just a lay

You write in such mystical ways.......and draw me in a bit deeper each time. Your mind intrigues me.
