Uncertain
The pain pulses through your mind, body and soul You never know when all of this will end. Curled up into a ball, Up against your bedroom wall, You sob, and you cry Watching your life pass you by. Blood stained carpet, in every direction. What did you do to deserve this? No time to think, you hear him scream, from down the hall. You get up with all the strength you have. You try to run, but stumble over your own feet. WHERE ARE YOU *****!? you here him yell. You run to your closet, and hide quietly as he rummages through your belongings. You hear him closer than he was before. Your heart rate skips, like a broken record. You curl up into a tighter ball, holding your knees close. A river of tears falls down your cheek. You hear him leave the room. You get up as fast as you can, you run towards the bathroom door Surprise! You thought you could run away from me?! You try to get away from his tight grasp, But hes far too strong. He clenches your arm, and pulls you towards the stairs. Holding your stomach you plead for him to stop. Stop? YOU want ME to stop? He laughs, and spits at you. Have a nice fall he says seductively as he pushes you down the stairs You tumble to your doom. But you make it. Battered and bruised you open your door and run outside in your bare feet, Screaming for help, at the top of your lungs. Nobody hears you, but a small child. Get help! I need Help! you tell the little boy, He stares at you blankly not knowing what to do, You turn to face your house, The door wide open, his shadow hindering the light. There you are! he yells as he runs towards you. You run as fast as you can, towards the closest house. He catches up to you and grabs you by your shoulders. Where do you think youre going? he says in a quiet voice. You try pulling away, but he only grasps you harder, Hunny calm down, its okay he wont hurt you anymore. He lies to the people peeking from their doors. As the doors to your only way out begin to close, You pull harder and harder. You almost break free. He picks you up, and throws you over his muscular back, You kick and beat him as hard as you can. When he gets to the door and throws you inside. He grabs you by your wrists and drags you across the carpet. Your skin burning, you scream and you scream. You reach the kitchen. He grabs the duct tape and covers your mouth, and bounds your wrists and your feet tightly. He looks at you, with those eyes that you once trusted. He turns, and walks away, leaving you alone. He turns on the t.v. You wriggle towards the phone, You try to dial 911, but are interrupted. Tisk tisk tisk he laughs as he waves his finger He rummages through your drawers, and grabs a knife. Your eyes widen in panic, as you see your death walking closer. You try to scream but are not heard. Oh dont worry baby, this isnt for you. He pauses Im making lunch do you want some? You nod your head, hoping that hell un-tape your mouth. He does, he grabs the sandwich and shoves it in your mouth Now chew! he leaves you as you gag on your food, Trying to get air, trying to breathe. Your back bleeding, your hands and feet are white, Whiter than before, losing circulation quickly. You wait for him to leave. You spit out the sandwich and go back to the phone. You call the police, they get your call. He enters the room. You think to yourself, that you will be able to live life once more But you are corrected. He punches your face with all his might, You can taste your own blood within your mouth You feel it dripping down your face. You hear the sirens at your door. He stops and bolts towards the back window, Before he left he dropped a note by your lifeless body. The police enter, following the trail of blood. They found the note, and read it aloud: I did not die from a man, But from the man of hatred within my soul. He consumed me, eating away all thoughts of life. Destroying everything I ever had. He runs outside, he yells and he screams. Though, you can not hear him. He is as human as you and me. He chooses a life differently than ours, He chooses the life of uncertainty. Uncertain of who he may in counter, Uncertain of who he may kill. Tonight, his uncertainty, killed me.

That was amazing. Almost reminds me of a poem called Sarah. Extremely sad poem, but very good. Same as yours is. Please keep up the awsome work.
