Game Over

Topic: SecretLove

If I could touch your face every day, there would be no tears to shed.
If I could kiss your lips every day, there would be no wounds.
If I could stare into your eyes at every moment that shall pass us by, there would be no where to hide.
The game we play is not one of purity;
It is a challenge.
A game of risks, of slyness, of awareness.
We both know.
Its thereyou know its there.
Like a bolt of lightning crashing through both of us, striking wounds that cannot be left unaided.
A magnetic force, identical pain and understanding.
There are no words that have to be spoken.
You speak with your eyes
I can read the painful reality in those shadows.
Im meltingfloatingfalling
The dark will wash overbut youll still be there.
You will always be right there.
I can hear you breathing.
Why cant you hear the screams?
My heart sighs...the darkness weeps
You reach out with your handwith your soul.
The warmth will overcome usand still no words must be spoken.
You can cut the silence with a knifewatch the darkness bleed.
Cant move, cant hear, cant see
But I can feel itwe can feel it.
Deep downrunning through our veins.
I feel like dying in your arms.
Feel like Im drowningbreathing your life.
Bleeding your existence.
Crying your tears.
Fallingwords are not spokennever are they spoken
Drowning
If I dont make it, know that I loved you all along
I loved you all along

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
