Close your eyes child, pray its a dream
Bite off your tongue just to stifle a scream
Open your skin so the blade cuts you deep
Cry to exhaustion, pretend youre asleep
Swallow it down, try you hardest to live
Let them take you away from the pain that they give
Hold it down, not much longer, youre fading to black
Give it up, youll be stronger, youll never come back
Cry out for redemption, your pain now suppressed
You wont last too much longer, though youre trying your best
Your crying ignored in favor of screams
Despite all your prayers, it gets worse when you dream
