Merry Christmas

~BUCKS SIGS~

" Christmas Day "

Its almost Christmas time, for the girl's and boys
Santa Claus is coming, with a big bag full of toys
The boy's will get skates, and cars with battery power
The girl's will get bikes, and dolls with pretty flowers
All through the year, Santa makes his list
He checks it twice, so no child is ever missed
Santa Claus really is, a jolly kind old man
Wanting to spread his love, to everyone that he can
Early Christmas morning, the anxious kids are up
On this Christmas Day, Johnny got a pup
Even though little Suzy, is sometimes a brat
Merry Christmas to her, she got a cat
Mommy got a gem filled, pretty Christmas ring
Daddy got a new tool, I can't name the thing
Christmas boxes and wrappers, scattered all over the place
Daddy invited us to pray, to thank God's loving grace
If it was not for God, to give us his only son
This celebration of Christmas, would have never begun
Please pray to God and thank him, your own special way
For this wonderful celebration of love, On Every Christmas Day!!!!!

I just want to say Merry Christmas to you fine people of, Your Poetry Dot Com. However, You have all made this poet very sad by not commenting on my poetry so I shall take my talents to my other sites of poetry where I have great respect for my creations of word art. I will no longer be posting my poetry on this site and must now say good bye. As I part, I have just one tiny request for all of you. As you create and post your poetry for others to read, please remember its your feed back that inspires fellow poet's and its a respectful need. Do not worry, as my creative pens ink will continue to flow, so my beautiful poetry will grow and grow. Mickey Pig Knuckles

I really enjoyed reading that poem. You managed to create a very visual picture, and create that christmas 'feel'. That same feeling I used to get as a little kid at xmas. Very impressive.
