I need you to hear my unspoken pain,
I am finding it hard to find the words to explain.
Every time I try, all I do is freeze,
Can you be patient with me, please?
Us not being together hurts as well,
I’m surprised you can’t tell,
I need to give us a try,
This is why I constantly want to cry.
You told me you wouldn’t make a good boyfriend,
Yet I still want you to be more than just my friend.
I don’t want to put any more pressure on you,
I don’t know how else to be true.
I am sorry it has taken this to express my feelings,
Instead of me personally saying my feelings.
I feel this is kinda the coward’s way out,
This is the only way it can be done without me having a freak out.
