Story Behind the Tear

Grief

Standing amongst the graveyard, With a rose in hand, Walking down the aisles of fate, Reading into each persons past, As you come upon the one you try to forget, Memories run threw ones mind, The good times, the bad. Falling to your knees in agony, Hands covering your face, As you ask yourself why, You rub your fingers across the letters of the tombstone, Imagining that they are touching back. Then set the rose on the ground, And say the last goodbye.

Great imagery! I like line 3 & 4, and the last 4 lines especially. Heck I love it all! So sad, but beautifully written! |
