I always seem to make you mad
By the things I do or dont do
I try to say sorry and I really mean it
But you still dont get the clue.
I dont know how I can do this
Im getting torn up inside
I always feel like its my fault
Im getting sick of trying to hide.
I hide how I feel inside
Because I dont want you to get mad
I feel like Im slowly losing
Everything I had.
You were my everything
Everything and more
But you took my heart for granted
And now youre walking out the door.
You dropped me off at school today
Mad at me again
With that same grin you have on your face
Every time you win.
Sometimes I cry myself to sleep at night
Because of a fight weve just had
Knowing it was my fault
I was the one that made you mad.
Im in pain inside
Yet a smile is what I show
I act happy when Im around people
But breakdown when Im alone.
Maybe I just dont understand
How you feel inside
But how am I supposed to know
If all you do is hide.
I hope you know Im sorry
And that I love you with all my heart
But I dont know how much longer I can do this
But I wont leave Ill stay by your side
like I promised in from the start.

ah, promises...
i've made a few of those in my travels
never could keep them, i tried
well ya know, i guess i never did...
sometimes love is not enough.....
or so i've been told....
i like this, it made me remember (although reflection can sometimes cause more harm than good.) I'm sure your boy will love it ^_^ |
