T hinking of our troops
H ome so far away
A cross the seas worldwide
N ations they protect
K eeping freedom alive
S erve and protect their motto
G iving their life an ultimate sacrifice
I nvited not by all
V alor is their glory
I nspired by helping others
N ever losing focus that freedom is not free
G od bless them everyday

Acrostic poetry can be so difficult at times...I would never be able to do one myself...wouldn't be able to live with the results if I tried.. But this is well done, better than my best attempts. It may be corny, but I really think you're going to be a great poet someday and people will recognize you if you get the chance to shine.
