I wish my sun would shine
And brighten up my day
Rekindle my hopes and kill my fears
And chase my tears away
But sunshine is for winners
And that I am not
So low to the people before my eyes
My purpose is to rot
People forever suffocating me
And laugh when I scream to live
Taking advantage of my kindness and talents
Drinking all I have to give
I look for the day you'll come back and shine
Tell the rain to stop dominating my life
Please hurry and shine sun...I really need you
Get rid of my friend Mr. Knife.

| this reminds me of a poem i wrote, thats y i like it so much. I like how you ended it too, which was the opposite of mine, and im just so glad i read this. I've been in a similar position as the poem entails, but nothing too extreme. Beautiful message, great write |
