Just when I think
the callousness of my heavy heart
will erode away into unfeeling dormancy
You come into my world
like a breath of fresh air
A solitary ray of sunshine to warm the
chilled pallor of the spirit within
You have given me cause to hope
and a new source of happiness
to make the hours fly
With your innocent smile and sweet personality
you make me see
my own slow gravitation towards cynacism
The universe is vast and unpredictable
Life cannot be bottled
labeled in algebraic equations
Stored for observation or defined
by a narrow set of rules
Just when I think I will sink into
the nebulous arms of depression
A beautiful spirit like yours enters my life
and makes me realize
What a wonderful thing it is to be alive
