Instead of being bitter towards you, i should thank you for what you did,
Instead of being hurt, i should thank you for the hurtful things you said,
I shouldnt be mad at the things you put me through, instead i should be thanking you,
After all theses years of pain, I was able to move on,
The **** you put me through made me strong,
After i left, you said the grass wont greener on the other side, I guess you was right,
But i was so glad I woke up and seen the light,
I may have had to fall,
I could of lost it all,
But i didnt lose my self esteem,
Ill never lose my hopes and dreams,
Thank you for making me see theres more to life,
Im so glad I never became your wife,
The day i left you, my nightmare came to a end,
Today is the first day that my life beings.
