Quiet night of instilled thoughts
Clinging themselves, ruminating in my mind
Chewing myself up in this reverie I forgot
This is where I linger in the fatal drops of time
A taste of love doesnt satisfy me
I only want more of your deadly poison
I fear these glass walls might betray me
Lead from home, drowning in your ocean
Lost in the lifeless eyes I knew
You capture me in this ancient melody
Under the rays of light a flower starts to bloom
Hopes that one day we live in harmony
Masks only reflect the dreams possessed
I am released of the mirror I hide beneath
On the edge of failure, I exist with strings released
Silence endures as you embrace the true me
I forget this deep-rooted lie
Lights dim and time begins to wrinkle
WE withstand as the pretend world passes by
The words drained from my heart
Cannot express how much I love you

wow this was beautiful... every line is so vivid
and poetically brilliant. I sensed an ache and
longing in this poem that i too have felt, but
have been unable to express as clearly as
you have here. I loved it all definitely one of my
favourites by you.
