Giving Thanks

If you ever need a memory or something nice to hear
I've always got a story or a compliment near
If I ever ask for your opinion or a little advice
I know I'll find it somewhere when the time is right
My hospitality is ready, every night and day
If you promise me that you will do the same
Then we can be the good people, all year round
And a day with family for a holiday won't bring us to the ground
Because we know a reason is not needed just to show eachother love
All it takes is a smile to share the rays shining from above
If you believe in what I'm saying then you'll understand
There is no looking back on life, for every day is just too grand
Giving thanks is sometimes overlooked, and then we are reminded
So before you fall into the Thanksgiving way, I would like to say
No calendar date can change the way we feel, the thanks we share are always there
So reach inside your heart today, tomorrow, and every coming day
And spread your joy in loving life for each and every miracle
Let me remind you that we hold the gift that makes us all so wonderful
