Explain to me why
Why do clouds float,
when cotton balls don’t ?
Why do birds fly,
and leave pigs to cry,
because they can’t?
Why do humans die,
so they can lie in a coffin
wearing a tie,
when mountains go on living
in their attempt
to touch the sky?
Why are toy teacups
made of glass
when they are played with
by a lad and his lass?
Why are there shades
to block the light
in the deep and dead of night?
Why can’t people walk on water
when it covers
three quarters of the earth?
Why are we doomed to jump
from rock to rock
amongst the ever pounding surf?
Why can the sun
fly through the sky
when gravity won’t let us try?
Why isn’t the world fare
explain to me this
why people say they try to care,
but life just isn’t fare.

| fare is fair by the way. i would get into that subject but i dont feel like writing an essay for a comment =] great write. never had thoughts such as these. very original. |
