Secret Admirer

Topic: SecretLove

Ive been admiring you from a distance for so long.
I wanted to talk to you but my mind played a different song.
I walked right up behind you but quickly turned away
I didnt know how to put the words I wanted to say.

I wrote notes with intention to give them to you.
But I always tried to find some sort of excuse.
I couldnt find your locker thats right next to mine,
or I didnt want you to see the golden hearts shine.

My dreams are filled with images of you.
I could walk into a forest and youd come right out of the blue.
When Id wake up Id hope again for sleep,
just to get another simple little peep.

I hope that one day I can find the courage to tell you
Everything that I desperately want to.
But until then Ill keep throwing wood upon the fire.
Signed, your forever secret admirer.

I know exactly what you mean. I admired a boy too since 7th grade (I'm in 11th now) and last year it got out to him. He didn't really mind it at all. But he moved away during the summer. I never got to say good bye. Read my poem Please Remember Me it's about this. So, I say when it's the right time just do what you feel is best but don't be afraid of what will happen next.
