HIS LIFE (A.K.A. MY LIFE)

Contributed by lemmen on Friday, 26th November 2004 @ 11:39:50 AM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

A child was he born in the land
of a great country.
Raised in the North by a loving
family.
Dreaming of a life he will never
see.

His dad was a preacher hell fire
and brimstone.
His mom was a angel sent from
the heavens above.
His sisters were all older than he
thankfully.
He had two brothers one older
on younger than he.

He was a child of dreams.
He was a child of thoughts.
He is a child that still lives
within me.

He grew up quicker than most
by the age of four he was nearly
five feet tall.
When he was ten he was six foot
tall.

His body grew but his mind stayed
young.
He always had this dream this dream
of love.
His mind was troubled thoughts of
death and misery from the earliest
age of memory.

Then he met her she was fun full
of life, Love freely given she was
to be his wife.
But it was never to be she died
and she was only sixteen.

He moved on but barely trying
to die with pills and a knife.
They put him away in an institution
you could say three months he
stayed.
Then yet another blow came to
his dream.
He shall never bare a child or
give one his name.

Two broken dreams while still just
a child.
It's amazing he's still alive.
Death of a lover,
Death of giving life,
How much more can just a
child take.

He moved on and married his first
wife.
But the past he could not let go.
For his wife wanted kids he could
not give.
So she cheated again and again but
with his knowledge.
It was just for a child so they may
have kids.
His dream every mans dream was
never seen.
So he ended his life with her and
moved on to another named
Christine.

She was his first wife lover BI sexual
friend.
He had it made two women at once.
But he was still just living a dream.
His second wife was no better than
his first.
Sex was a game and he played it well.
Never was there love just sex and
lustful greed.

He is now twenty-four but still a
child is he,
He bleeds for love a passionate
dream.
He moved on from his second
wife named Christine.
For she got pregnant without his
knowledge.

He was single for maybe two years,
But still living in a dream with a
tear,
Always trouble with thoughts of
death and love that was never
near.

Then he met her she was the devil
hidden in what he thought was
an angel sent from the heavens
above.
She raped him of his soul,
She raped him of his mind,
She raped him of his all.
Just what he needed another
painful memory.
But he stayed with her for nearly
nine years.
Was it love?
No, he just didn't want to be
left alone.
As they were together he found
out he had AIDS.

Just another blow to his dreams.
She made it worst by calling him
a fag queen.
What was even worst was when
his mother died she just said no
you cant go?
But he left he left her alone but
then he returned not wanting to
be alone.
He finely did leave her once and
for all just last year in July.
After he took all he could.
He was sick of her lies,
He was tired of her damnation,
And the raping of his mind.

She is the devil reincarnation within
her soul.
Never has he hated,
Never will he hate.
Anyone as much as he hates her
with all his heart and soul my she
DIE ALONE.

He is now thirty-five just had a
birthday in July.
Still a child within his mind.
Still dreaming of her his love
that died.
Still has a trouble mind,
Still wishes he could die.

He shall always be a child,
A man he shall never be.

His body is old.
His mind is young.
His dream is but a tear on life
and it's song.
He has no future to look upon.
His dreams he shall never see.
His life wasted on a love that
will never be.

ALL HE HAS.

All I have is my words that I can
share with thee.
This is my life from beginning to now.
Now everyone knows the true me.

A CHILD WAS HE RICH IN SPRIT
FULL OF EMOTIONS EVER SEARCHING
FOR A LOVE THAT WAS LOST BUT NOT
FORGOTTEN EVER HOPING FOR A TIME
TO BE LOVED ONCE AGAIN.

Captured my attention throughout the whole thing. This hard path though life only makes one stronger, it helps harden ones soul which makes each day, just that, another day. Keep writing.

You are a strong man, Dennis... to be here writing about your life after all that you have been through!
I wish you every happiness...you deserve it..

A sad poem from a sad life. I commend you on for your bravery. It must be hard to face the world alone. I wish you the best of luck. May God be with you and may you and your love someday be together again.
